About the role:

We are partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a major data and cloud transformation. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a high-profile Microsoft Fabric implementation that will enhance the organisation’s data and analytics capability.

You will drive delivery of the end-to-end project focused on modernising data platforms, migrating legacy systems into Azure, implementing Microsoft Fabric, and enabling a more automated environment.

Working closely with senior business and technology stakeholders, you will lead delivery across architecture, engineering, security, and operations while managing the external vendor. This is a pivotal role with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the organisation’s future data and AI capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of the Microsoft Fabric implementation and associated Azure migration program
  • Own project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and budgets across multiple workstreams
  • Manage external delivery partners and vendors to ensure milestones and outcomes are achieved
  • Coordinate migration of legacy on-premise data platforms into Azure-based environments
  • Support the transition and decommissioning of existing Microsoft Power BI solutions
  • Drive governance, reporting, RAID management, and steering committee updates
  • Collaborate with Architects, Engineers, Business Analysts, and operational teams in an agile environment
  • Ensure alignment across infrastructure, cybersecurity, data engineering, and enterprise architecture domains
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across both technical and business teams

About You

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager delivering enterprise data or cloud transformation programs
  • Strong experience leading Microsoft technology projects, ideally Azure and Microsoft Fabric
  • Demonstrated success delivering new platform solutions within complex & greenfield enterprise environments
  • Strong understanding of data migration, integration, and modern cloud platform delivery
  • Experience managing external vendors, system integrators, or consulting partners
  • Excellent governance, planning, reporting, and stakeholder management capability
  • Able to engage technical teams while confidently communicating with senior leaders
  • Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, or modern data platforms will be highly regarded
